It's a wrap! The first ADCE Agency Exchange has finished, and it was a success!

The first ADCE Agency Exchange edition has already finished! From the 26th of August to the 11th of November, six young creatives had the possibility to live a working experience abroad.

The Agency Exchange is the new educational programme for all ADCE members, in collaboration with all their participant agencies and studios. It matches creatives and agencies/studios that are willing to share their knowledge and learn from different working methods and cultures.

Not only is it a fantastic way for creatives to develop their professional skills while working abroad without quitting their job, but it also allows agencies to benefit from a wide range of talents from other cultures, countries, and backgrounds.


Agencies Involved
Caffeina - Italy
Caffeina is a Digital Native Agency that transforms brands into Experience Brands. They create impactful experiences by fuelling new energy between brands and people and believe in a world where everything can be reinvented with the use of the Digital and Creativity.
Hasan & Partners - Finland
Hasan & Partners are part of Hasan & Co; an international group of creative agencies and brand specialists.
Triad - Czech Republic
Triad is an innovative, effective, and creative independent agency in the Czech Republic. Their ideas and campaigns work, and they give personal service, but they are still able to handle every aspect of a client’s account to keep communications integrated and efficient.
WKND - Latvia
WKND is an agency offering services such as Branding and identity, Marketing, Advertising, Production, Digital and Media. As they say; they focus on ¨more client growth stories than agency case studies¨.
JWT Metro - Georgia
JWT Metro was created through the affiliation of Metro with the global advertising network J. Walter Thomson; a marketing and communications brand that has been reimagining the future for businesses for over 154 years.
Meet the exchangers

The six creatives taking part this year were: Emma Varotti (Italian) from Caffeina. She did the exchange with Pauline Marie Korp (Estonian, working in Finland) from Hasan & Partners; Alexander Javakhishvili (Georgian) from JWT Metro did it with Michaela Brůhová (Czech Republic) from Triad Advertising; and Līva Arnava (Latvian) from WKND exchanged with Riccardo Bruno (Italian) from Caffeina.


Some of their opinions...

“The differences between working in Italy and Finland are quite big, so it was an eye-opening experience to see the ways of working of the south. Many stereotypes were demolished, many confirmed. Italians don’t eat only pasta and pizza, sometimes they eat salads too. If you want siestas, go to Spain – Italians are much more hard-working than I imagined. It was especially interesting to live in a country, which language you cannot speak, because when you can’t make out the words then design takes a whole new level of importance. And of course, there is no design-lover out there who wouldn’t love living in Milan.”

“The first two weeks of this exchange have already flown by. There are a lot of things that I would like to share, but the most important one is that Hasan & Partners is the best place where to experience this program: international environment, bold projects, welcoming people and lots of activities to try, in and out of the office. Helsinki is the perfect frame for this work experience, since it has so much to offer: events, sightseeing, uncontaminated nature and, last but not least, authentic saunas in every corner!”
