Art Verlag Berlin has been publishing DEUTSCH MAGAZINE, an international lifestyle magazine, since 2003. The new design takes its creative inspiration from the assumption that different people associate different things with the word “German”. Typographical borrowings from the world of lexicons and reference works lend the magazine a unique visual character and, at the same time, highlight the constant changes in the perception of what “German” actually is.
